Mark Tungate

First, a few words about your host. I started out as a journalist 20 years ago, when I was 19, on a local newspaper in the West of England. Later, a job on an international media magazine took me all over Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Six years ago I moved to Paris to work on a short-lived English language magazine. Seduced by the city, I stayed on to freelance and have since become a non-fiction author. This blog sprang out of my book, Branded Male, published in early 2008. The book is about the evolution of the male consumer and the desire of marketers to tap into the underdeveloped male market.
